Long live the 16th century! What a wonderful time to be a merchant in a bustling port city! Take the lead of one of four merchant families, feel the wind in your sails, and set a course for victory. Observe the actions of other players and try to predict the demand for individual goods. Wood, spices, or porcelain? What sells best overseas? Where can you get the best price and where do you lose out due to the actions of other players? Players receive cards with ships and goods. Their task is to load the corresponding goods onto their ships and sell them at the time of greatest demand, which they can influence by playing the corresponding cards in the trading phase. Buy, sell, speculate, and expand your fleet to become as rich as possible and leave the competition far behind.
